May Meeting
Our May Regular Meeting was a slight change to the planned, as our Candidate was called away on work commitments at short notice. Nevertheless, the work in the Centre was followed by a well supported Festive Board at the Newbury & Crookham Golf Club.
The Raffle attracted a good number of subscribers and raised £145 towards the Lodge Benevolent Fund and the ‘Wee Pot’ collected just over £28.
The meal was a Smoked Salmon, Prawn & Crayfish Cocktail starter with wholemeal bread & butter followed by Chicken Balti served with rice, poppadum, vegetable samosas and mango chutney. We finished the evening with Coffee or Tea and After Dinner Mints.
